Popjablues 1798
De Amerikaanse country zangeres en liedjesschrijfster, producer en auteur MARGO PRICE woont in Nashville. Het blad de Fader noemde haar "de volgende ster van de country". Haar debuutsoloalbum “” “Midwest Farmer’s Daughter” verscheen op 25 maart 2016. Haar negende album nu ut. “Hard headed woman”. Je hoort “Losing streak”.
JANIS JOPLIN werd in 1966 lid van de band “Big Brother and the Holding Company. In 1968 ging ze solo. Haar grootste hit was wel “Me and Bobby McGhee”. Bij ons acht weken genoteerd. Een nummer 17 hit. In Amerika een nummer één hit.
De Amerikaanse rock-, country- en bluesproducer, liedjeschrijver, muzikant, drummer en zanger TOM HAMBRIDGE heeft twee Grammy Awards ontvangen en zeven Grammy-nominaties en zeven Boston Music Awards, en is opgenomen in de Buffalo Hall of Fame. Van zijn negende album “Down the hatch” “How blues is that”.
